Bringing people together for music since 1989
Music & Media is a prominent music industry gathering, serving the industry with the expertise, insight and connections for three consecutive decades. Together with its festival Lost in Music, it is a celebration of the great year behind, highlighting of the new talent, and the preparing ground for the years ahead.
Music & Media 2020 is postponed to 2021. The event will take place in October in Tampere, the exact dates are going to be announced in the coming months.
LOOKING AT MUSIC & MEDIA FROM A NEW PERSPECTIVE
Due to the uncertain state of our sector and society, we feel it is no longer feasible or safe to organise Music & Media and the Industry Awards Gala 2020 in their traditional forms, therefore we postponed our event to 2021.
Adversity can be reversed, so it is now high time that we re-imagine absolutely everything we do and create more adaptable ways to go along with the change. Our mission to bring the industry together to discuss the future has been stronger more than ever this year. Therefore, while we already start planning Music & Media 2021, we intend to continue pursuing our mission, and look for alternative and safe ways to bring our industry together as we have done over the spring & summer. We will organise at least one physical gathering.
Updates on pop-up Music & Media events in the fall and winter 2020 will be announced during the coming months.
Stay safe and stay tuned!
