Music & Media takes place on 7-8 October 2021 at Tampere Hall, Tampere, Finland. The programme of the professional event will concentrate on the recovery, rebuild and new growing possibilities of the music industry. This year the theme of the Music & Media seminars and the showcase-festival Lost in Music is Nordic countries.

Seminars

The two-day program includes thought-provoking keynotes and fruitful panels, bringing new ideas and perspectives into the mix. In 2021, the hot topics of the international seminar program include interesting keynotes, tips on showcasing properly, visions for future song export, information on the role of music tech in the future of music industry ecosystem and two insightful case studies on Finnish metal success stories, Apocalyptica and Blind Channel.

Industry leaders and artists take over the stage and share exclusive insights with the Music & Media delegates. Music & Media 2021 program welcomes on stage Finnish as well as international speakers including Philipp Schulte (Century Media), Jakob Sørensen (The Bank), Jake Beaumont Nesbitt (IMMF), Sara Herrlin (STHLM Music City), Anna Zò (Music Innovation Hub), Ulysses Hüppauff (Odyssey Music Network), Brian Mahoney (Kassner Music), Erik J. Workshops

In the intimate workshops settings, the seminar topics are explored in detail and discussed among a dedicated group of people, under the direction of select industry experts. Lost In Music

Finland’s biggest music industry gathering deserves as it’s companion Finland’s biggest club festival with more than 8000 attendees. Lost in Music offers the latest and the hottest music in the scene to Music & Media delegates and the festival goers. Lost in Music venues of 2021 will be rocked by Finnish talent such as Arppa, Detalji, Hassan Maikal, Jesse Markin, Jori Sjöroos, Louie Blue, Luukas Oja, Malla, Moon Shot, New Ro, Sara, Sexmane, Teksti-TV 666, Tiisu, Ursus Factory, William, Yeboyah and more!

Industry Awards Gala

The grand finale of Music & Media program, the Industry Awards Gala is a fabulous evening with the participation with the industry and stars. The glamorous gala is the occasion we celebrate the previous year in the Finnish music industry with food, wine and great music. Disclaimer: Not attending causes serious FOMO.

Important meeting in a difficult time: International day 26.11.2020

Music & Media united the Finnish music industry with industry professionals from around the world to meet and discuss the current topics on 26 November 2020. The Music & Media 2020 International day was organised as an online event, together with Music & Media’s strategic partner Music Finland. 

International Day consisted of panel discussions, keynotes and networking with international guests. Topics included diversity in music business, expert tips on international breakthroughs, as well as artist management during Covid-19 era.

Speakers included Jesse Markin, Lxandra, Noora Louhimo, Teemu Brunila, Dalia Stasevska and Robert Meijerink (Eurosonic).
